Sweatshirt style

I love a sweatshirt. I have built up quite the collection over the years (mostly the the motherhood years). I never used to contemplate wearing them outside of the house but there is such a trend for them at the moment.

Pics taken from Pinterest.

Just a few images of how to where your sweatshirt with jeans AND skirts. Who'd have thought it? Those sick stained sweaters that we where when we literally "can't be bothered" are actually really versatile!

Wearing mine here with white pleated skirt and studded ankle boots.
Sweatshirt- Topshop • Skirt- ASOS • Boots- Office • Hat- Topshop

Here a few of my top picks. *click the links to be directed to items*

Top left (the one I'm wearing)- Topshop • Top right- Topshop • Bottom left- Zara • Bottom right- ASOS

Loving this light blue colour from shop sincerely Jules. No one dresses a sweat top as well as she does.

So there we have it. I'm off to dust of my sweatshirt collection!

Hope you're having a good weekend :)

Pointed flats

I'm a big fan of the pointed flat. They're smart, casual, stylish and comfy. Can't go wrong! Here are some of my favourite picks.

I bought these ASOS ones last week at only £18 and they look great! A little tight so have needed the size up.

Also available in this gorge metallic style. Both ASOS.

Top left- Topshop • Top right- Office • Bottom- Next • Bottom right- Mango

Loving all of these. Perfect with skinnys and dresses and even with tights the winter. Most definitely a wardrobe staple!

Hope you had a great weekend :)

Weekend style- Boho dress

So Saturday felt like actual summer. 26 degrees! Naturally, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to wear my new Mango boho dress. I had been eyeing it up for a while on ASOS and then it went in the sale and so the next day it was on my doorstep.. Obvs ;)

I find it a bit long which is odd considering I'm 5'9 but I added a very skinny belt and bloused out the top.

Dress- Mango at ASOS • Shoes- Topshop • Bag- Basket Basket • Necklace- Dorothy Perkins (old)
Click to be directed to item.

A bit more of a close up. I really love this dress even if the summer is non existent, I will try and get some wear out of it and if not there's always next summer as we all know boho never dies.

Have a great week :)

Quick OOTD!

Ok it's actually and outfit of the night as its what i wore last night on Date night with my hubs. A casual outfit for mid week dinner and wine.

Very sorry about the poor quality of the mirror pic. I promise never to use such poor lighting again ;)

Wearing the mustard feather print Zara trousers again but this time with navy blue cami (which is a great colour against the yellow), leather biker jacket and pointed flats.

Trousers- Zara • Cami- Dorothy Perkins (old) • Jacket- Topshop • Shoes- Dune (old)

A simple look for a rainy summers night!

Thanks for reading :)

Boot excitement!

This post is dedicated to all the amazing boots I'm seeing lately. As you know I love Autumn/Winter fashion and boots is one of the reasons why.
I've narrowed it down to four pairs which are all a little different from each other.

Click to be directed to items.

Top left- River Island (also available in black) • Top right- Topshop • Bottom left- Zara • Bottom right- Office

All perfect boots in my eyes. The leopard River Island pair are the ones for me I think- to.. die.. for!

I also nabbed this pic from Kurt Geigers Instagram account. (It's a regram from British Vogue and all different brands so you will need to follow to find out.)

Oh my the boot obsession has reached a whole new level.

Simply gorgeous!

The little things

So Roman (my youngest) has recently made the transition from toddler bed to an actual adult sized single bed. So with that happening new bedding was needed.

He loves animals (well he did last week- you know how much they change, this week it's superheroes.. Grrr!) so this was perfect!
From the Little Home range at John Lewis. Bed also from John Lewis however it was my older sons so is a few years old.

Second of all, I've become a little obsessed with circus lights so I was pretty excited when these were brought to my attention.

From Home Bargains ranging from around £3 and up. They look so cool In the kids bedrooms/playroom!

It's all about the little things :)

Bargain jumpsuits

We all love a supermarket bargain but how do you like a supermarket bargain in the form of a stylish jumpsuit? Quite a bit I suspect. So here is a jumpsuit I found in ASDA yesterday.

I know summer is on the way out soon but this looks great with a jacket, trench coat or even with a shirt/blouse underneath. At only £14 you can go wrong really as it is versatile enough for next summer too.

It's stated as navy but I would say it is a little darker than that.

I'm also loving these Jumpsuits which I've spotted recently. Also at a good price.

Denim and grid print, we have casual and classy. Both Boohoo at ASOS for £30 each. Not a bad price at all!

(As promised direct links will be set up soon, thanks for still reading!)

Autumn outfit inspiration

I don't know about you but I can feel autumn in the air and there are definitley leaves on the ground. What is going on August?? I don't particularly mind though as autumn is my favourite season and must definitely my favourite fashion season. So with that it mind it only seems right for a little post of some autumn outfit inspo.

This is a good look for the early autumn days. A smart and stylish daytime look. Florals don't have to be left in summer and the high neck is key right now.

Top and shoes- Topshop • Jeans- Zara.

A bit more of a casual style here. Loving these patent crocodile effect flats from Topshop in both tan and navy.

Coat, top and shoes- Topshop • Jeans- Zara.

There's two outfits and there'll be more where that came from.

Thanks for reading peeps!

Pretty bangles

It's been a while since I done a jewellery post. I'm not a huge jewellery wearer myself unless it's a night out and I need a necklace to style up an outfit. However, I am somewhat converting since jewellery has become small, dainty and really very pretty.

This post is dedicated to bangles and have put together some of my faves.

Top and bottom left- Topshop • Top Right- ASOS • Bottom right- H&M.

I love all of these as they're small so you won't even know you're wearing them yet they look so pretty and add a little something to your outfit.
I think I may be making a little bangle purchase myself.

Have a great week :)

Pj love

We all love the little things in life and for me one of those is a fresh pair of pyjamas. I'm a homely girl so I love chilling in my Pj's once the day is over... And occasionally on a Sunday (all day)!!

I usually stock up on my pj collection when the colder months start creeping in but that seems to have already started *thumbs down emoji*

So here are a few of my fave pyjamas I've spotted recently.

Stripes

The woman in the striped Pyjamas- such a classic look in nightwear.
Top left- H&M • Top right- Next • Bottom left- Asos • Bottom right- Topshop.

Silk

Both classy and elegant. It's nice to feel good in everything you wear.
Left- M&S • Right- H&M.

Cami and shorts

Loving both of these. Very pretty. M&S have a whole range of boho Nightwear at the moment.
Left- Next • Right- M&S.

Nighties

Last but not least. We all love a nighty. These are a little more of a "sexy" option but why not?
Left- H&M • Right- M&S.

Thanks for reading and Happy Friday!

New blouse buys

Just a little post of a couple of blouses I have bought recently. Every lady loves a blouse. They make us feel very lady like and elegant whilst also feeling comfortable.

These two are my most recent blouse purchases.

Victorian lace

This Topshop lace insert poet blouse is so pretty. With the high neck and puffy sleeves it definatley gives you that Victorian feel which is very on trend right now. Looks great with skinnys and flats or boots.
This one seems to have limited sizes at the moment so here are a few others I've spotted.

Top left- Topshop • Top right- ASOS • Bottom left- Zara • Bottom right- Next.

Boho smock

This is one of my favourite tops right now.  From Zara, it's Very flattering- especially on one of those sluggish days as its loose fitting yet still very pretty and vibrant.

Looks great with Jeans or even dungarees as I wore it here.

Dungarees- H&M • Sandals- Office • Bag- Zara.

So there's a bit of blouse talk for you. As I said a few posts ago, I will have direct links to the specific items soon so please keep reading.

Clutch bag lust

I'm having a bit of a clutch bag phase at the moment. Not just your ordinary black "goes with every outfit" style clutch bag, but ones with a little more "pizzazz" so to speak.

Starting with this divine Liberty clutch.
Oversized- perfect for those night out essentials and I love this print a lot. Also available in a few different colours. Great when wearing block colours to avoid the clashing of bold prints.

Here a few more that will grab the eye.

Top left- Mango • Other three- Warehouse.

Great bags for great occasions. I'm particularly liking the Mango one (I think it's the Pom Poms).

A Topshop Wishlist

Just a little Wishlist of a few items I've spotted in Topshop recently. A bit of a mix up in summer/autumn styles, seeing as though the weather can't make its mind up.

Loving all four of these items.

Coat- The trench/duster coat is simply gorgeous for spring/summer and autumn/winter- a great colour and actually goes so nicely with the red cullote jumpsuit.

Dress- The Breton stripe dress is from Topshop Boutique and is a wardrobe must have perfect with flat sandals in summer and also with black tight and ankle boots in the winter.

Jacket- The sheepskin denim jacket has been on a Wishlist of mine for some time. A bit of a boyish look but also a very cool, trendy style when doing cool and casual things. Great with skinnys and sneakers.

I promise I will have direct links to these items and websites soon, I know it can be annoying and quite time consuming trying to find the items I post about so please bare with me. I hope my blog is coming in useful to you and I will be updating my blogging style very soon.

Much love

More mustard love

On one of my recent 'Wishlists' I featured the Feather print trousers from Zara which I also bought. My love of yellow/mustard has grown quite a bit lately, first the yellow raincoat, then the mustard biker jacket from Missguided and now these.

Wearing them here with a fitted white shirt tucked in, black Topshop Fedora and Black lace up flats, also from Topshop. A smart way to wear them. They also look great with a white or black tee and leather biker jacket for a more casual style, or with a soft cream sweater/jumper for colder months.

And here with over sized shirt from H&M tied at the waist and my Basket bag for a summer look.

So yep still loving the mustard vibes.

Have a great week ahead!
