Camisole Style

One of the biggest trends this season is wearing nightwear/underwear as outer wear. Not quite 'Superman' style with your pants over your trousers (lols) a little more subtle than that.

Pyjama Style, for example, is very hot right now and today I'm talking about lace camisoles.

Loving this look. Worn with jeans, over sized cardigan or leather jacket gives it edge, class and sex appeal. Good combo ;)

I bought this Zara floral cami dress recently and really is gorgeous.

It's a great fit but I would say only for the small busted (like me) I wasn't able to wear a bra. Such a pretty dress, I wore with strappy heels but can also be worn casually. I'm thinking flat sandals or trainers ie, converse, Stan smiths or Adidas gazelles and an over sized jumper or cardi.

Complete the look

Leather jacket- Topshop • Sunglasses (exact)- Zara • Bag- Whistles at ASOS • Shoes- ASOS

Here are some of my top lace camisole picks.

Tops

Top left- ASOS • Top right- ASOS • Bottom left- New Look • Bottom right- Topshop

Top left- Missguided • Top right- Missguided • Bottom left- Topshop • Bottom right- New Look

Top left- ASOS • Top right- Warehouse at ASOS • Bottom left- Zara • Bottom right- Zara

Hope you like my picks and choices. This style is a great one if you're feeling like you want to embrace a little sexiness without being too "in your face". My style is generally quite reserved as I feel at my most sexiest in a Tshirt and skinnys but I did love wearing this outfit and leaving the comfort zone a tad. I think my next purchase may be the Topshop navy lace cami (above).

Thanks for reading! X

Shoespo

Bringing some shoespo (that's shoe inspo- it literally just came to me) today. Yes, I've been rather quiet on the blogging front as I said in my last post, the house move has taken over (and we're STILL not done- longest.. Move..ever!) and throw in a nasty chest infection means consequently I haven't been feeling very inspired hense my blog posts being very few and far between. However, chest infection has cleared up and I'm feeling excited about shoes!

If I could have any pair in the world right now it would have to be the Gucci pumps.

Serious shoe envy but a tad out of my price range right now. *Ahhh one day* Available at Gucci.

So let's talk about mules. So many pairs to lust after in the high street ATM. A great shoe to wear casually or dressed up.

Worn here with jeans and dress.

Open toe or full toe. I love both!

Not forgetting a flat mule too as worn here by the gorgeous Lucy Williams, one of my fave bloggers.

Leaf/botanical prints

I'm back, after a bit of a break while we moved house. It's been pretty awful and long but were nearly there!

Anyhow, I'm done with boxes and stress and am here to talk all things leafy and botanical. It's such a huge trend right now in fashion and home and had become one of my favourite prints (along with leopard and stripes- obvs!)

Images via Pinterest.

I have a couple of leaf print items from last year which I've dug out for this year. The Warehouse shirt dress and Topshop palm print jumpsuit were two of my fave purchases last summer and I'm excited  to have them at the ready this summer too.

Teamed it with my biker jacket looks great and if wearing on a night out even better for the chilly evenings. Jacket is old but similar here

Wearing the jumpsuit here with my khaki Shacket (old but similar here) and next sliders available here. I have also worn this with a white blazer or white oversized shirt which I tied in a knot at the waist for a casual summer look. You may not think it but leaf/botanical prints are actually really versatile!

Top picks

Top left- Topshop • Top right- Topshop • Bottom left dress- ASOS • Bottom right- Topshop

Jumpsuit- Topshop • Bikini- ASOS • Grey Jumpsuit- ASOS • Pyjamas- ASOS

Dress- Zara • Backpack- ASOS •

Mug- House of Hackney teapot set available here • Bedding- H&M • Bottom left cushion- Matalan • Bottom right cushion- Sainsburys

Top cushion- M&S • Bottom cushion- Matalan

Cushions are a great way to add this print to your home without having to commit to too much ie. Wallpaper, as much as I love it, it is a bit daring.

So there we have it, I hope you've enjoyed the post. I'm glad to finally be back in the blogging game. I can stop whinging about my house move now (well a little bit, I may still have a moan until it's all done ;))

Thanks for reading. Don't forget, I'd love to hear any comments or feedback you have! Enjoy the weekend!
