Camel trench coat

A trench coat is a definitley wardrobe staple as it never goes out of style and is always a classic. I recently sold my Burberry Prorsum trench *sobs* as I wasn't getting my money's worth and it has "grown" a little small since I had Roman.

So, I wanted to find an alternative. I love a longer and more oversized look and at least that way you can fit jumpers and layers underneath.

Images from Pinterest.

I finally found this one from Stradivarius which was my first purchase from there and I'm super impressed. It's exactly What I wanted and at the mear price of £39.99!

Coat- Stradivarius • Top- H&M • Boots- Topshop • Belt- ASOS

It would pretty much work with any look. I would wear it with a simple White tshirt tucked into some blue jeans with my Stan smiths and maybe a woolly beanie hat and oversized scarf for a more casual style. An all year round kind of coat.

Hope that's given you a little Monday night inspo. Thanks for reading! X

Autumnal colours

Bringing some colour to this post, Autumn  colours to be exact. Yellow, orange, Browns and greens are the basics for Autumn style and great for bringing a pop of colour to your outfit if you're anything like me and mostly wear grey, navy, white and black.

Images from Pinterest.

A coloured coat looks great with an all black outfit as above.

My style

Wearing my old Zara mustard coat with a navy Breton and black jeans, the colours work really well and epsecially with a dark red lippy!

Smart coats

As I said in my last post- Autumn is defo here. The jumpers and coats are out. I recently bought the insta famous M&S coat and I'm basically in love with it! I love a smart coat as they're so easy to wear and style, much more so than a casual coat as with a smart one you can wear it with trainers and a cap yet still look stylish and also dress it up with your heels and a dress to keep it classy which you can't really do with a casual coat. So, very versatile I say. And as I'm having a wardrobe clear out, I'm focusing on buying more versatile items so this works for me!

So here is my new M&S coat. I love the length, colour and cut of it. It works so well with lots of outfits plus the price is great at £69 as I usually would pay £100+ for a new winter coat- so far winning at Autumn/winter ;)

As you can see I love a smart coat dressed with big scarves, hats and boots. Little pops of colour or print are good to break up the grey/blue/black of the coat. So, here are a few options- loving the blush pink accessories, a colour I need to get on board with!

Cosy knits

Yes the temp has dropped, so yes it's time to get the knitwear out... Or better still, get some new ;)
I am all about Autumn and a lot of that is down to the fashion and dressing for the colder weather. Jumpers, boots and coats are my faves!

So yep, it's time to break out the sweaters and all the knitwear. Oversized, chunky, fluffy, crew neck, you name it- I want it!
