Autumn wishlist

The weather is cooling down so in pretty excited about getting out the knitwear, coats and boots. But first it's time for a little wish list. I am lusting over a LOT of stuff but have picked a few of my faves so here goes...

Top left- Zara • Top right- H&M • Boots- &Otherstories • Bag- Mango

The top left is actually a bodysuit and I neeeed it, with the frilly detail and star print it resemble Realisation Par gorgeous tops and dresses. Also loving the green jumpers lately, I got one from Sainsburys last week but lots of choice in H&M. And the boots, oh the boots, I have a black pair from Warehouse from last year so I may need this brown pair too!

Trench coat- Zara • Top right blouse- Zara • Hat- Topshop • Top- Topshop

Coat- H&M • Shoes- New Look • Sunglasses- Zara • Jumper- Zara

I'm really trench coats at the moment. I've got a cream Burberry Brit which I've had for a good few years and it is my fave but I'd love a navy or khaki one, I missed on the Alexa trench earlier on in the year but the above Zara one will just just fine ;)

Top left- Topshop • Top right- H&M • Boots- Warehouse • Hat- ASOS

Another pair of boots I know but I bloody love boots arrgghh, I promise to only get one pair! Also in desperate need of a new black fedora as I've had mine for around 5 years and is actually falling apart so this ASOS one looks perfect.

So that's all I would like, not much there is there?! *covers eyes*. Thanks to some of my insta followers for buying my preloved items over on my other instagram page as you are funding my shopping habits without me feeling hugely guilty afterwards- big love for that and I will put more up soon!

Thanks for reading! X

All the leopard

Ok so leopard is one of my favourite prints and this season is pretty much everywhere which I'm happy about. Lots of great styles from coats, shoes and jumpers and even home accessories. Leopard has become an essential part of the everyday wardrobe since Kate Moss and Alexa Chung made it a lot less Bet Lynch and Kat Slater and more rock
chick chic.

Here are some of my own looks. I had this coat from Mango last year. Wearing it here with a khaki jumper that's I got from Sainsburys recently. It looks lovely against the print. That's the thing about leopard, you think nothing will go with it yet everything really does. I also love it with stripes.

You might not be able to see very well here but I'm wearing new leopard valley flats from Next. Wearing with a simple outfit here and would also look great with a leather skirt and an oversized jumper or Breton, jeans and biker jacket for another relaxed look.

Embroidery love

Embroidery is a big trend at the moment. I have always loved anything embroidered so this isn't really a new style for me personally but I am super happy that there are so many gorgeous items to choose from lately.. So spoilt for choice!

Images from Pinterest.

I recently picked up a few new embroidered pieces.

Top- Zara (link below) //  Bag- Mango (old, similar here)  // Sunglasses- Zara (old, similar here)

From Zara. I love the detail, colour and the oversized, billowy sleeves. Perfect with a denim or leather mini while it's still hot and with jeans and ankle boots when the autumnal weather kicks in.

Secondly, I bought this gorgeous khaki bomber jacket from Sainsburys would you believe it.
I can't can't find it online but should be plenty in store as it is new stock.

Wearing here with leather skirt which would look great with either my burgundy adidas gazelles or Stan smiths for a casual look and heeled boots or sandals for a dressed up look.

Lastly, this high necked Victorian style blouse from La Radoute. A subtle embroidery detail here, still very pretty and easy to style. Also loving the bell sleeve.

Accessories- Skinny scarves

My new favourite accessory has got to be the skinny scarf. I'm very much the scarf wearer in the cold seasons and I think a scarf is an easy way to add style to an outfit so I'm loving this trend.

Here is my own look.

Blouse- New Look • Scarf- ASOS

Wearing here with an evening outfit but can pretty much be worn with any look. I would wear with a Tshirt, leather jacket and high waisted jeans for a day look.

Back to school- School run style

I'm back from my much needed break as I'm thinking I may be getting a little of my mojo back. I've been slumping around a little this summer so haven't been feeling very stylish, however with the kids back at school and routine setting back in I am back to blogging!

So, with this said I thought a "School run style" post would be the perfect way to
kick off September.

As it's still pretty warm, there is no need for all the coats and scarves yet (that post is for another day) so its more casual and comfy. I've taken to quite a sporty/casual look just lately and it fits perfectly for the school run or for running any kind of errands plus "Sporty" is very on trend ATM so works perfectly. Shacket's, trainers, caps and bomber jackets are all the rage currently.
